Everything founders ask before they message me

Getting started

I only have an idea, no designs, no documents. Is that enough?
Yes, and that is exactly what the App Blueprint is for. You bring the idea and the intent to launch; Foundreco brings the validation, research, scoping and a build-ready spec. Most of the best projects started as three sentences on WhatsApp.
How do I start, and what does it cost to talk to you?
Nothing. Send your idea in three sentences through the project brief and you get an honest verdict within 24 hours: worth building, worth changing, or not worth your money. No call required and no follow-up sequence.
Will you sign an NDA before I share my idea?
Yes, as standard, before discussing a single feature. Send the form without the sensitive detail, ask for an NDA, and you get one back the same day.
What if my idea is not worth building?
You will be told that, with reasons. It happens regularly and it is the point of the free audit. A founder who spends five figures building something the market did not want is a worse outcome than a lost deal.

Price and payment

How do payments work?
Fixed price, split across milestones. You pay when a milestone is delivered and demoed, never a large sum upfront. If a milestone is late, its invoice automatically drops 20%.
Do you charge hourly?
No. Hourly billing transfers the risk of a bad estimate onto the client. Every engagement is a fixed price agreed before work starts, and it only moves if you change the scope.
Why are you cheaper than a US or UK agency?
Senior engineers in Lahore, AI doing the repetitive build work, no sales team and no office. That is the whole answer. You are not paying for a bench, a business-development team, or a lease. The published market runs from $15/hr freelancers to agencies quoting "from $70,000" — Foundreco sits deliberately between those, and all the numbers are on the pricing page.
What is the cheapest thing you will take on?
An App Blueprint at $800, or a Vibe Code Rescue at $1,500. Below that the honest answer is usually that you do not need an agency yet, and you will be told so.
What will the app cost me every month to run?
You get that number in writing before you sign — hosting, database, email, storage, store fees and any AI usage, with the assumptions next to each line. Most small products land between $0 and $80 a month early on. It is one of the six guarantees.

How the work happens

Who actually builds the app, you or a team?
Haidar Mustafa architects, scopes and owns the outcome personally. The build runs through the Foundreco pod: senior engineers, a designer and QA he has shipped with for five years across 500+ projects. Same people every project, with his review on everything that ships. One accountable partner, not a rotating cast.
Is the 14-day sprint real, or a marketing number?
It is a real 14-day build sprint, and it starts after the Blueprint is locked. Idea to live on both stores is honestly about five weeks in total. Apple and Google review times are outside anyone's control, so the contract commits to submission dates rather than to their queue.
I am in the US, UK or Gulf. How do timezones work?
Everything important is async by design: a weekly recorded demo, a live dashboard you can check anytime, and written updates. For calls there is overlap with US mornings and Gulf or EU afternoons. You will never be blocked waiting on a timezone.
How do I know what is happening without chasing you?
A live cockpit shows what is done, what is next and how much budget has burned. Check it at 3am if you want. On top of that, a recorded demo of working software lands every week.

AI, and what it does and does not do

Is my app just AI-generated code?
No. AI does the repetitive build work — scaffolding, boilerplate, the thousand small pieces that used to eat a month. That is where the speed comes from. What stays human is scope, architecture, security review and the judgment about what your customers will actually tolerate. For context on why that matters: 95% of developers report spending extra time debugging AI-generated code, and 45% of it ships an OWASP Top 10 vulnerability. The review is the product.
My AI-built app is broken. Can you fix it rather than rebuild?
Usually yes. Most AI-generated apps have a workable data model and front end; what is missing is security, error handling, tests and deployment. A rescue typically costs 30 to 50% of a rebuild. The 72-hour audit tells you which side of that line you are on before you commit money. Details on Vibe Code Rescue.
Can you take over a project someone else started?
Yes, and it is a large share of the work. Whether it was an AI tool, a freelancer who disappeared or an agency that ran out of scope, the process is the same: audit first, fixed price second, no blame in either direction.

Ownership, risk and what happens after

Who owns the code?
You do, from the first commit. Everything is committed to your repository under your accounts, not handed over at the end. There is no point in the project where Foundreco holds your intellectual property.
What if I want to stop halfway?
You can, at any milestone, with no notice period and no exit fee. You keep everything delivered plus a plain-English handover any developer can pick up in a day. Because you pay per delivered milestone, there is rarely anything to refund or argue about.
What happens after the free 30 days?
You choose. Take the handover and run it with your own team — everything is already in your repository — or start a monthly maintenance retainer from $600/mo. No pressure either way, and nothing auto-renews.
What if the deadline slips?
That milestone's invoice drops 20% automatically. No arguing and no change-order theatre. The exception, stated plainly in the contract, is a delay caused by waiting on something from you.

About Foundreco

Who is behind Foundreco?
Haidar Mustafa, based in Lahore, Pakistan, working with founders across the US, UK, EU and Gulf. Five years on the agency side, 500+ projects delivered by the teams he sold for, and 15 client builds with a published case study. More on the about page.
Can I see proof rather than claims?
Fifteen case studies, each with numbers supplied by the client and measured after launch. Named clients, named companies, real figures — from €250,000 saved to $55,000 a year in new revenue. Not one of the numbers is Foundreco's own estimate.
What do you not do?
Ongoing staff augmentation, pure design work with no build, blockchain and crypto projects, and anything where the honest answer is that you should not build it. Saying no to the wrong project is how the delivery promises stay possible.
