Every engagement is a fixed price agreed before work starts. There is no hourly billing, no discovery retainer, and no charge for the initial assessment.

What each price actually buys

Almost nobody publishes this, which is why "cheap MVP" enquiries end in disappointment on both sides. Here is the honest scope at each level.

$800 to $2,500 — App Blueprint

You get a written specification, user flows, a technical approach, a costed build plan and a straight answer on whether the thing is worth building. You do not get software. This is the step that stops founders spending $20,000 on the wrong product, and the fee comes off the build if you go ahead.

$1,500 to $4,000 — Vibe Code Rescue

A 72-hour written audit, then security fixes, error handling, tests and a working deployment for an app that already exists. You do not get a rebuild at this price. If the audit finds the codebase is beyond saving, you are told that and the audit fee comes off a rebuild instead.

$4,000 to $7,500 — MVP

One platform, one core user journey done properly, real authentication, a real database, payments if you need them, and a live deployment. You do not get a second platform, an admin panel with everything in it, or six months of feature work. An MVP is the smallest thing that proves the business, which is the point.

$10,000 and up — SaaS

Multi-tenancy, subscription billing, roles and permissions, an admin surface, and the operational plumbing that makes a product sellable rather than demonstrable.

How Foundreco's pricing compares to the market

Prices below were published by each provider and observed on 16 August 2026.

ProviderPublished priceWhat that tier usually means
Upwork freelancers$5–$10/hrNo accountability, no guarantees, high variance
Suffescom$15/hrOffshore body-shop hourly
GetDevDonefrom $499Small fixes only
AppStuck$70/hr, 5-hour minimumHourly, cost unknown until it is over
Fora Soft$2,500 / $5,000 / $10,000Fixed tiers for AI-app fixes
Foundreco$1,500 rescue / $4,000 MVP, fixedFixed price, six written guarantees, code yours from day one
buildmvpfastagency minimum $15,000Simple builds; complex $30k–$120k
Justin McKelvey$15k floor, $25k–$50k typicalUS independent consultant
S-Pro"can start at $70,000"Full-service agency

The interesting part is the gap. Below $1,500 you are buying hours from someone with no incentive to tell you the truth about your codebase. Above $15,000 you are paying for a sales team, an office and account management. Foundreco sits in the band almost nobody serves.

Why Foundreco is cheaper than a US agency

Worth answering directly, because you are already wondering. Three reasons, none of them "we cut corners":

  • Senior engineers in Lahore. The same seniority costs a fraction of a US or UK salary. That is a currency and cost-of-living difference, not a skill difference.
  • AI does the repetitive build work. Scaffolding, boilerplate and the thousand small pieces that used to consume a month now take days. That saving is passed on rather than billed.
  • No sales team, no office, no account managers. You talk to the person who builds the thing. There is no margin funding a layer that never touches your product.

What running the app costs after launch

This is the "running-cost truth sheet" guarantee, made public. Software has a monthly bill and most agencies leave founders to discover theirs. Typical monthly ranges for a launched MVP:

WhatTypical monthlyNotes
Hosting (Vercel, Railway or similar)$0–$25Free tiers cover early traffic honestly well
Database (Supabase, Neon)$0–$25Paid tier once you hold real customer data
Authentication$0–$25Free below a few thousand users
Email and notifications$0–$20Scales with send volume
Payments (Stripe)% per transactionNo fixed fee; you only pay when you earn
AI features, if any$5–$200+The one that surprises people. Usage-based.
Apple + Google developer accounts$99/yr + $25 onceOnly if you ship to app stores

You get your own numbers in writing before launch, not after the first invoice.

What's free

The 24-hour idea audit. Send your idea in three sentences and you get an honest verdict within a day: worth building, worth changing, or not worth your money. No cost, no call required, and no follow-up sequence. That answer is given even when it loses the work.

Payment terms

  1. Fixed price agreed before work starts. It does not move unless you change the scope, and any change is quoted before it happens.
  2. Milestone payments, not one lump sum up front.
  3. Late delivery means you pay 20% less. The deadline risk is mine.
  4. You can end the engagement at any time. No lock-in, no notice period, and you keep everything built to that point.

Every software development agency quoted me at least €250,000 to build what I wanted. Foundreco got it built in a few weeks, and I never had to hire a development team.

Pricing questions

Is this fixed price or hourly?
Fixed. You approve one number before any work begins and it does not change unless you change the scope. There is no hourly billing and no open-ended discovery phase.
What happens if the scope changes?
It gets quoted separately before anything is built, so you always decide with the number in front of you. Scope creep that quietly appears on an invoice is not how this works.
What is the cheapest thing you will take on?
An App Blueprint at $800, or a Vibe Code Rescue at $1,500. Below that the honest answer is that you do not need an agency, and you will be told where to go instead.
Do you offer payment plans?
Payment is by milestone rather than up front, which spreads it across the build. For longer engagements the milestones can be split further — ask when you send your brief.
Do you take equity instead of cash?
Not currently. Equity deals make sense when the agency becomes a genuine long-term partner, and Foundreco is built around shipping and handing over. Owning your code outright is worth more to you than a discount.
What does maintenance cost after launch?
Thirty days of care is included with every build at no charge. After that, maintenance is quoted against what you actually need rather than sold as a mandatory retainer. Many clients need nothing.
Is there a minimum engagement?
No minimum term and no retainer. The smallest paid engagement is the $800 App Blueprint.
Why should I trust a fixed price?
Because the guarantees are in the contract, not on a page. Late delivery costs Foundreco 20% of the fee, and you can end the engagement at any point and keep everything built so far. Those two terms make it expensive to quote badly.
